Hello Harmel & Ashvin,

As it is not a bug we have implemented the functionality for account
taxes when we search for taxes it will first check for code of the tax
if its found it will display it otherwise it display name only.

So i am closing the bug for now.

  [PS] In the Sales Receipt view, the Tax field displays tax id instead

  * Install the French Chart of Account
  * Accounting/Customers/Sales Receipt, create a Sales Receipt and select a tax 

  Obtained result : it displays the tax code in the tax field

  Expected result : it displays the tax name in the tax field
