[Bug 789964] Re: mrp - work order in manufacturing order - switching between form - list view does not save data
I am reassigning to GTK team for double-check, as in the video it looks more like a GTK issue. Naresh will be able to tell confirm this in no time :-)
Now the other question is whether we can easily fix this, or if we don't have an easy way to do it... in any case it's not a very bad issue, users should have the habit of saving their changes with CTRL-S regularly...
BTW Mihai, you should be aware that the "Save and Close" button does not
actually send the updated data to the database, it will only close the
current popup and return you to the parent form. If you want to send the
data to the database, you should press Save or CTRL-S afterwards. We
have had long discussions about the labels for these buttons, and "Save
& Close" and "Save & New" were the labels that seemed to be the best for
users. For example "Close" and "New" did not clearly show that the
current values would be preserved as well.

Title:
mrp - work order in manufacturing order - switching between form -
list view does not save data
Status in OpenERP GTK Client:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Go to a manufacture order with several work orders
Scenario 1
In work order tab
go to work order 1 and edit the time, mine is 0 so I change to 1
press save and close
-> the time is saved (is 1)
Press the little list button "change"
-> in the form view the time is 0 again
Scenario 2
In work order tab Press the little list button "change"
And change the time to your wish, press next arrow to change the next time and so on.
Wen you press again the list button, the element that was active will
lose the time setting.
Thanks for this great product!
