[Bug 801723] Re: Problem when filtering user with address

 

Hello TnBui,

This bug will stay invalid, but the project will be changed to Addons for sure.
Filtering users(or any object) with addresses work in this manner based on the text searched:
1. First check will be the name
2. Second check will be the Zip
3. Third check will be the City
4. Last check will be the partner of the address.

Searching users based on country is not yet available, but with a very
little customization you can achieve your goal.

We consider this as a suggestion and will surely put on table to introduce for future releases.

Title:
  Problem when filtering user with address

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Step to reproduce:
  * Create a new users (Tu Bui)
  * Adding some information for address of this user (country: Vietnam)
  * In search view of user, filter with the address "Tu Bui, Vietnam". There is no result appear. 

  I believe that this happen for all search view when filtering with
  partner address

  I'm using v6.01
