Hello,

The "Sale_layout" module is a part of extra-addons in v5.
But currently in version 6 it is improved and merged in official addons and which is working fine.

So we will not consider this issue for bug fixes in the related active
branches.

So would you please check the current sale_layout module in official
addons list and if you found any problem on this then you will post a
bug report for latest trunk or stable 6.

Title:
  sale_layout: name of product is reset in sale.order.line

Status in OpenERP Modules (addons):
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  When installting sale_layout from extra addons the chosen name of a
  sale.order.line is reset to the default product name when the UoS
  Quantity is changed in the form.

  This happen because in the overriden view sale.product_id_change() is
  triggered without passing the argument Flag as True as it is done in
  the view provided by the base sale module.
