please try to enter a product name with 64 char (default field length) and check

IMHO it'sone of the shortcomings of the demo db that all char fields of
greater length are only filled with short names so the problems in
day2day do not become evident in test envirenment

it is a very serious issue if users can't see the complete field
(without opening the m2o which is not a "solution" for fast working)

especially in German companies and products etc tend to have longer
names and it important to see the complete name to be able to uniquely
identify the resource - also on smaller screens. (laptops/tablets)

Bug description:
  wheras fields with long content are multi-line in list views (best visible in dash boards), in form view text is cut of
  Example - warehouse board
  click on SO004/MO/0003
  the product name is cut of making the info unusable given the fact that  important details of the product attributes are usually on the right side of the name field
