I am sorry - 
* the name of field should be changed top be clear

the rest of my argumentation is off topic
Here in Austria the name "Payment Terms" are widly used for cash discounts which are very common here.
the modules 
* account_cash_discount
and the following currently aparently only for v5
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~openbig/bigconsulting/addons/files
* account_payment_discount_extension
* account_invoice_cash_discount
do the hard work which is mandatory to implement and work in Austria

   - and I agree it's tempting to enter 2% in the value field for 2% discount - but it's wrong !
