[Bug 817687] Re: email_template, "Test outgoing connection" on web client

 

This bug is being closed as Won't Fix in the OpenERP Web Client project, as it is not going to be developed further after the 6.0 series. It will be replaced in 6.1 by a newer and better web frontend known as the OpenERP Web project[1], so further R&D efforts on the 6.0 project would be wasted.
Bugs affecting customers in production of course continue to be handled via the OpenERP Enterprise (OPW) maintenance service.

Title:
  email_template, "Test outgoing connection" on web client

Status in OpenERP Web Client:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  We are using the email_template on the GTK and we don't have this
  problem.  But if we are on the web client and we try to test the
  outgoing connection on a new account we have an error without any
  message. properly.  But we can send email anyway.

  We use OpenERP v6.0.2 on ubuntu 10.04.
