This was due to the fact the Opportunities action contains
domain="[('type', '=', 'opportunity')]" but there is nothing in the
context to set the value of type.

  cannot save a new opportunity

  in new web client,

  i  create a new opportunity, if i save it, the log is right but in the
  list i can't see it (even if i clear all seacrh criteria)
