First I'll express my frustration, because seems that advanced debugging
is kept a secret at openerp.

Second we did manage to find the cause of the decimal precision:

We have two databases: 
First for production and manufacturing purposes with product sale price decimal precision set to 5.
Second database, minimal with only project related stuff,  with product sale price decimal precision set to 2.

In the moment we enter the second database, and enter the screen issue
from menu projects, the decimal precision for the whole system drops to
2.

This can be avoided if the decimal precision is set to 5 in the second
database.

My personal opinion is that is a major flaw for the system that reflects poor testing, and weak design.
I just hope that the next version would be much better. Frankly if I would paid for this program I would be very sorry.

Still for the open source world is one of the most advanced projects of
it's kind, Well done.

I hope that you can keep the licence and all the stuff open source and
free.

  Hi,

  I do not know how to give you more info but here is my problem and is
  burnig me alive:

  Every 5-10 minutes I have to restart the server because the decimal
  precision for product price gets back to 2, while in the database is
  set to 5.

  Please help me with info on how to give more details or other info or
  hints.
