[Bug 574349] Re: Cannot log in to database after upgrade

I stumbled upon this same error when trying to start the stable 6.0.3
server on my laptop on Ubuntu 11.

I have OpenERP installed on a Debian Squeeze server that work fine but I
wanted to debug a module we've developed for our-selfs so I wanted to
make the same code run on my laptop.

I've found this bug report when looking for solution and I just want to post here what solved the problem for me:
installing the myssing python-vobject package solved the problem.

Hope this will help someone.

Title:
Cannot log in to database after upgrade

Status in OpenERP Server:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
I updated an trunk instance of OpenERP and started the server with
  update all option.

However the server chokes on having unmet dependencies for the CRM
module. The dependencies where not required (apparantly) before this.

Now I can NOT install the (newly) required modules because I can not
login. its a typical catch-22 situation.

Is there any workaround for this?
