I have tested your scenario at my end.
I did not faced any problem with new web client. 

If you still face the same problem then please update us with the more
information.

I have checked with following revision :

	Trunk :
		
			New web Client  : 1202
	  		Server  : 3749
	  		addons  : 5342

  click in a box in order to open action bar. Change color :

  TypeError: load() takes exactly 3 arguments (2 given)
