I think you didn't start the web and  you try to access it then this
type of problem is occur.

If I have stoped to started the web and try to access it then I have
face the problem "XMLHTTP request error".

Bug description:
  When we change the language preference there is a short error message:
  XMLHTTP request error. Only for a short period.This error also appears
  when we change anything else in the preference window.
