[Bug 882600] Re: datepicker triggers keyboard / UI lock under IE Internet Explorer 8

 

Issue is confirmed as happening on Windows Explorer 8, 9 and 10 Platform
Preview, on Windows 7.

Issue is likely sourced in an IE-specific hack using special layers
(iframe) or field hiding to avoid select boxes showing through in-
document dialogs.

  go to any form view or search view with a datepicker
  click on calendar icon to open datepicker

  => the UI is blocked, it's not possible to enter any data in other fields with the key board.
