Yes indeed, this is what I tried to convey.

And what I was saying, is that in my opinion it is NOT a good thing to
have the 'web' modules there, as they are not regular modules, like
'account' or 'sales'. There is no point to have them there, unless there
is one, which I cannot see :-)

Bug description:
  hello,

  [using latest code]

  while installing the openerp-web addons (actually copying them into a
  folder, as the setup.py install does not seen to work) I received the
  advice to add the additional folder path to the addons-path parameter
  in the server config. That works great, now the server start with web
  ...

  However, I noticed that in the GTK, now I have the 10 additional
  modules listed. I find it at least confusing, as they are NOT to be
  updated, installed, this way.

  I suggest we should have a filter, a different parameter for the web
  addons, or why not to make them work from inside the server addons
  folder or from an egg...
