I have tested again and I finally found out what I was doing wrong, and it's not a bug in the server code indeed.

  Partner's ref is not computed anymore

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Today in the trunk I just noticed that the field "partner ref" in the product object is not computed using the supplierinfo anymore, but only contains the default data.
  There is now a typemismatch between the partner_id passed to the function that computes the partner's ref and the id read from supplierinfo.
