[Bug 890620] Re: no login necessary after reboot

> firefox 8 - any idea where cookies can be configured?

Sure. You can configure on a per-site basis or a global basis.

# Per site

* Go to the site you want to configure, bring up the context menu on the page (right-click or control-click)
* Select "View Page Info"
* Go to the tab "Permissions"
* The third item is "Cookies", uncheck "Use Default" then select the radio button "Allow for Session" (default should be "Allow").

Firefox should now force all cookies for the site to be session cookies.

# Globally

* Go to Preferences > Privacy
* In the "History" selection, choose "use custom settings"
* There are a bunch of checkboxes, and a "keep until" selection, change the selection to "I close firefox", this will make all cookies into session cookies.

Other options on this screen are:
* "Keep until: ask me every time", every time a page tries to set a cookie, will ask you whether you allow it or not, if you allow as session cookie or as whatever the site wants, and if the rule should be remembered (lets you create a cookie rule for the website)
* Accept third-party cookies, if unchecked it will only allow cookies for the site (page) you're visiting, so no tracking cookies for ad servers for instance.
* The "Exceptions" button lets you set up per-site configuration (that's what the "per site" process changes, actually, if you set up cookies permission via the "per site" process they'll appear here). You can create new cookies rules or change existing rules from here.

Title:
  no login necessary after reboot

Status in OpenERP Web:
  Triaged

Bug description:
I left firefox open and requested a reboot on OpenSuSE 11.4
after login into KDE session Firefox was automaitcally restored and it was possible to continue without a new openerp login

I am not sure if this is a feature or a security issue
IMHO after a reboot a new login into OpenERP should be necessary
