I'm not comfortable running svn right now. Too many other system bugs as
is and dont want to be messing with cairo-dock too :)

If you push the latest debug code from svn into the ppa. I'll be glad to
add some more info.
Thanks. :)

Bug description:
Binary package hint: cairo-dock
Using the latest version 2.0.9 from > https://edge.launchpad.net/~cairo-dock-team/+archive/ppa
When a new window opens , sometimes , it does not show up in the taskbar and skips the list of the open windows.
This is very confusing when several windows are open and I only realize that the window is already open when i try to open the app again and it comes up from behind !
While i'v checked if it is a problem with the window skipping the panel window list too , but alas, its a problem *only* with cairo dock.
This is not specific to any app or any event , it is very random and I'm not sure how to debug this issue.
This is not a new problem , I'v been facing this problem since version 1
Workaround:
Restart cairo-dock > now the app is shown in the list of open windows.
