ok thanks, I'll try.
how do you know it's smoother ? it's already very smooth on my GeForce7, I
don't even see how it could be more. ^_^

I explain :

move the mouse over the dock : the smooth resizing depends of the option of the animation delay in the config panel.

*Active* the option "LOCK ICON POSITION". It's a condition to observe the bug.

- mousedown the dock : none launcher is activated, none icon is being dragged.
- move the mouse over the dock : you can observe that the animation of the magnifier is smoother !
- mouseup or leave the dock area : the animation become "normally" smooth...
