thanks for the bug report, but please 1 bug per message, otherwise we can't use the Launchpad features.
the first bug is known and fixed under the current bzr version.
Thanks to confirmed that point.
About the second bug, "The icon effect doesn't stop" : which effect is it ? isn't it just the application that demands attention ?

Bug description:
Another issue with the auto-hide option !

Reproduce the bug under cairo-dock 2.1.0 (Ubuntu ppa weekly) :

 - Maximize a window
 - Close it
 - The dock should automaticly unactive the auto-hide option, but it's not
 - The dock is still hidden
