this bug is a duplcate of.
actually the icon being not inside the dock, it doesn't have a place where to minimize.
it appears only after it is minimized, and Compiz has already started its effect.
a solution would be to allocate a place for all applis, if such thing is possible.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: cairo-dock

I've set the settings to “Show only minimized applications”, so the icon appears just after I minimize an application. But for that very reason, Compiz doesn't find a place to send the animation, and instead of shrinking to the dock, it shrinks to my pointer.
