[Bug 491251] Re: Switcher applet not displayed with OpenGL

I think it can be interesting to open a new bug report on Mesa bug tracker.
The invisible icons are confirmed on this bug #428900 because of the lack of pBuffer support.
Maybe your problem is related but I'm quite sure that they will quickly answer if it's a problem due to Mesa (or not). Can you open a new bug on FreeDesktop : https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Mesa ? If you want I can do it but in fact Mesa isn't used with proprietary drivers of Nvidia :-/ and I can't test a new system on my old notebook... But I can add some informations if it's needed ;)

 > Further there is an additional problem with the clock applet , if the clock applet is present the dock does not even start when started with $ cairo-dock -o
Can you test with the latest rc version ? => https://launchpad.net/~cairo-dock-team/+archive/weekly

Thanks

Status in Cairo-Dock : Core: New

Bug description:
Using 2.1.1-3-1ubuntu2~karmic from the stable ppa , and Kernel 2.6.32-6 from the Lucid repos[since KMS and OpenGL works better with this kernel].

When running cairo-dock in the openGL mode , the switcher applet is not displayed [attached screenshot]

But the applet works fine the desktop numbers are displayed but the only problem is that the switcher is not displayed.
When i use the non-OpenGL version , there is no such problem.
