[Bug 491414] Re: Dock stays below other windows when Pop-up opion is enabled
I am sorry, I didn't realize I wasn't running the latest version. I
updated to 2.1.2-1-1ubuntu1~jaunty however the problem persists. I am
running Compiz with a standard Ubuntu setup. "Keep the dock below
windows" is chosen, now in the Visibility module, and "Pop-up only if
the mouse hits a screen corner" is not selected. The dock remains on
top of windows, unless I set them full-screen.
I am occasionally seeing another strange effect which I will mention,
but I don't know if it is related and may need a separate report.
Occasionally, when switching to another window, the entire dock will
vanish. There is no animation like I get with auto-hide, it simply
disappears. Sometimes when this happens, the single newly active icon
remains while everything other part of the dock vanishes. Unfortunately
I have not been able to reproduce this effect reliably, though it may be
triggered by the custom window icons Pidgin sets.

Bug description:
I have enabled the Pop-up option "Keep the dock below other windows" in the Accessibility module, and this does cause the dock to appear below all other windows, however it does not "pop-up in the foreground" when I place the cursor on the screen border as it is supposed to. My dock continues to appear below other windows.
I'm running cairo-dock 2.1.2-0beta1-20091118-0ubuntu1~ppa0~jaunty.
