[Bug 500209] Re: UI issues

The more I keep looking at the configuration window , i find more "bugs"
:(

- The default in Ubuntu and upstream gnome is to *not* show icons in the buttons and that exposes the missing padding in the buttons[screenshot-2] :
 * All the buttons do not have enough padding: they should have "12 pixels of padding to either side of centered text" <http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/design-text-labels.html.en#layout-label-position>.

- Up and down need to use the "... _always_show_image" flag for the
icons to be displayed even with the default , these are actions and can
be easy to recognize. [notice the icons in the menu editor uses this
flag to display the icons even with the default]

- Main dock is referred to by different names in different places: The
behavior tab > "visibility" uses the name "Main" dock , while the
appearance tab > "view" uses the name "root" dock.

- Sub-dock visibility option is not very clear as a checkbox.
It can be converted into a combobox ,
Display sub-dock contents : 1 > only when icon is clicked / 2 > when hovering over icon
Since the second behavior isnt obvious unless the user reads the tooltips.

I think i'll stop now ;) .. before i piss off you folks :)

Status in Cairo-Dock : Core: In Progress

Bug description:
Since , i noticed that the cairo dock is cleaning up the configurations window , I thought I'd mention a couple of other simple issues:

- The "Quit" button , in the configurations window , should actually be named "Close" , since all it does is close the window. Generally , in all other applications "Quit" is used to quit the whole application including all running instances.
- "OK" and "Quit" buttons seem to perform the same function. Why have two buttons? "Close" could just replace both.

- When user right-clicks on the dock , the Cairo-dock submenu , has too many options.
Could the "Developer site" and the "Community site" options be moved to the "About" window? It would be easier to better explain the options and provide these links in the "About" window.

- Using the Up and down arrow icons for the Unmaximize and the minimize is a bit misleading... Ideally, the dock could use its own icons which are consistent with default metacity buttons , or not show any icons like how metacity does it.
- Keep the unmaximize and minimize options together , similar to the options shown in the window , Would give some consistentcy to the user when using both the dock and the metacity window. [currently they are separated by the "show" option ]

PS: nice work on the new simple mode :)
