ok this has been fixed, gnome-terminal is now used when it is available.
by the way, does anyone know an environment variable that would be set by KDE for Konsole ?

Bug description:
If I use "launch in terminal", cairo-dock uses an xterm instead of gnome-terminal. The only way around this I have found is to move xterm and create a symlink in /usr/bin "xterm"->gnome-terminal.

That is very hackish. Does no one who uses cairo-dock use terminal apps??!?

If you choose not to run in terminal and just set the command, eg "gnome-terminal -e mc", cairo-dock just counts this as a terminal and jumps to the nearest one instead of launching the command.

This makes it totally useless for my purposes, which is a shame. Big big oversight people.
