[Bug 545172] Re: cairo-dock exits if no plugin found
I would like to clarify something:
I'm running Ubuntu Lucid ( 10.04 ) and have been using Cairo-Dock ever
sice. It's a brilliant dock and I adore it.
Thing is .. todays update completely broke the dock. I had it installed
with all the bells and whistles, animated Icons, weather applet, custom
launchers, you name it, and it worked like a charm.
Right now after the update, it refuses to start, just pops up the
warning about "no plugins installed, dock exits now"
This is a *major bug*, and I make every bet that most of Ubuntu based
Cairo-Docks will stop working within the next 48 hours as soon as people
receive the update.
Cheers !

Bug description:
Hi,
I'm using cairo-dock version 2.1.3.5 on debian squeeze.
Since this update, i can't use it without plugins. It says :
No plug-in were found. [...] Since there is almost no meaning in running the dock without them, the application will quit now.
The thing is i don't need plugins right now (well, it's not really true, i don't use them because they are not available for squeeze amd64). I would like to use the dock anyway because just launchers and task bar are quite useful for me.
So, let *me* decide if I want to run cairo-dock with or without plugins.
In the previous version in debian, which seems to be 2.1.3.1, the dock warned me that i didn't have any plugin, but i could use it. Now, i can't. It's not fair.
