Since it works from the moment you've opened a link one time, I think it's
more a problem in the http part of GVFS.
The crash probably occurs within GVFS, in the launching thread, that's why
the dock can't intercept it.

We should link the gvfs project so that they can investigate on it (I can't
do it from job, Matttbe if you read me ? :-) ).

Bug description:
The Stack applet has some problem with web links (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/cairo-dock-plug-ins/+bug/449419). I don't get any error messages but:

(1) Firefox doesn't start the first time I click on the link and the second time, before it starts, it says that another instance is running;

(2) Cairo-Dock sometimes even crashes when I click on the web link and gives this message: "Couldn't guess if it was an applet's fault or not. It may have crashed inside the core or inside a thread".

This is similar to an old bug about Nautilus but there isn't such a behavior with local links anymore.
