Re: [Bug 580455] Re: Mail Applet has hight CPU hsage
Hi,
First, thanks for all these tests. It looks like the problem has something
to do with libetpan, as you noticed. The only clients I know which uses this
library are "etpan" (sometimes called etpan_ng) and etpanX.
Here is the homepage: http://libetpan.sourceforge.net/index.html
Could you try to install this (small) program and see if you encounter a CPU
problem? If there is no problem with the CPU, enjoy, because it will mean it
can be fixed in cairo-dock :)

Mail Applet has hight CPU hsage
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/580455
You received this bug notification because you are a member of Cairo-
Dock Team, which is the registrant for Cairo-Dock Plug-ins.
Status in Cairo-Dock : Plug-ins: In Progress
Bug description:
When the mail applet checks mail, its CPU usage goes high for a moment. I have two accounts in it and when I refresh them, one of my two CPUs (dual core) goes to 100% momentarily.
I don't know if this behavior is new because I didn't use this applet before.
I have the latest bzr version of Cairo-Dock in Debian Squeeze.
