[Bug 618688] Re: Cairo-Dock conflicts with KDE screen locker
This is strange...
It's not a crash in CD but in kaccess/kdeinit4
kaccess: Fatal IO error: client killed
kdeinit4: Fatal IO error: client killed
kdeinit4: sending SIGHUP to children.
received SIGHUP, reloading network configuration
klauncher: Exiting on signal 1
kdeinit4: sending SIGTERM to children.
kdeinit4: Exit.
Can you try to automatically launch CD at startup with a delay. You can use this command:
$ sh -c "sleep 30 && cairo-dock -c"

Bug description:
If Cairo-Dock (GLX) was launched (and even if it is already closed) and the screen was locked then, the unlocking window is displayed as a grey rectangle. I use Mandriva 2010.1 with KDE 4.4.3, kwin window manager. Video card is GeForce 8500 GT, proprietary driver version 256.44. The bug was reproduced with Cairo-Dock 2.1.3-2 (from Mandriva repo) and 2.1.3-9.
