Thanks for your reply.

Cairo-Dock is started 6 sec after Compiz here. I'll increase this delay
and see what will happen.

BTW, another strange thing: sometimes after resuming from hibernation,
the dock uses 100% of CPU time (3-4 times in this month). When I quit
the dock with its menu, the CPU usage gets normal but I can't even log
out of GNOME! I don't know if this behavior is new because I didn't use
hibernation before. Should I make another bug report for this?

Bug description:
With the dock having a reserved space and starting with Gnome session, sometimes, after boot, when a window is maximized and the mouse cursor is put on an icon, the upper part of the zoomed icon goes behind the window. After restarting the dock, this behavior is corrected. I even added "class=Cairo-dock" to "CCSM > Window Rules > Above" to no avail.

I have no clue to why the above behavior happens only sometimes after boot. My graphic card is GeForce 9500 GT with nvidia-kernel-dkms 195.36.24-4 on Debian Squeeze.
