oh I forgot, which view do you use for subdocks ? could you please try with
another view (like the Slide or the default one for instance) ?

If (User Space File System) is not checked in the Compiz Settings Manager, Cairo Dock will shutdown or display the Cairo-Dock configuration manager if a laucher that contains file system folders is used.
