Title:
No transparency after uninstalling cairo-dock when using second
monitor

Bug description:
Hi there,
I have a serious problem. I installed cairo-dock as explained on the
homepage manually on my Ubuntu 10.10. The problem was (well known)
that every windows and the panels look shaded and a black shadow shows
trough and new windows always overlap older ones. I did try the fake
transparency but did not work. So I uninstalled cairo disappointed as
I was and restarted the system. Know, every time I start my script to
use my second monitor (using xrandr, it basically changes the
resolution) this problem reappears even though cairo dock has been
removed. But this script worked for many years now. I am really
frustrated at this point.
Could someone please help me?
(I have Compiz installed (simple-ccsm))
Best,
Patrick
