oh, seems there is a little bug here... what if you restart the dock ?
currently thumbnails are only for minimized icons; I think that having small
previews of all windows is not a very good solution, since you can't really
distinguish between let's say 2 nautilus windows with such a small previews

  dock crashes when selecting "slide view" for main dock

Bug description:
  I have two docks: one at the bottom for launchers, one at the top as a
  taskbar replacement. At the moment, both docks are set to "3D view",
  but when I try to change it to "slide view", glx-dock kind of crashes,
  leaving me with the config window in maintenance mode, so i have to
  set "3D view" manually in the config file in order to use it. I can
  set sub-docks to "slide view" with no problem.

  Linux Mint 10 Gnome and Compiz
  Intel GMA 950 (Thinkpad X60)
  cairo-dock 2.2.0-4 w/ OpenGL
