[Bug 927451] Re: Feature Request: Expand History Limit for Clipper Plugin
Hello,
A list with 50 entries is already an big list but of course, we can increase the maximum size of the list. If you want, you can already change the size by editing this file in your home directory: ~/.config/cairo-dock/current_theme/plug-ins/Clipper/Clipper.conf
Then, you can replace these lines:
#I[1;50] Number of items:
nb items=25
by:
#I[1;XXX] Number of items:
nb items=YYY
(where 'XXX' is the maximum number that you can have in the config panel and 'YYY' is what you want) and restart the dock.
@Fabounet: what do you think about that?

Title:
Feature Request: Expand History Limit for Clipper Plugin
Status in Cairo-Dock: Plug-ins:
Opinion
Bug description:
The current maximum for the "Number of items" in the Clipper history
is 50.
Tonight I did a lot of copying and pasting, and needed to pull up
something from the Clipper history, but was unable to since it was
"older" than the previous 50 items.
My proposal: Could the Clipper history limit be whatever the user
enters into a textbox for "Number of items"? (rather than the
current slider used to select a number between 1 and 50).
