Hello and thank you for this bug report.

Is it possible to try to reproduce this bug with the latest stable
version (3.0.1) because it seems you're using an old version (released 2
years ago) and this bug has maybe already been fixed ;)

PS: don't launch the dock as root ;) (as all other applications that
don't need root right to access to some files).
