[Bug 1007539] Re: Shortcuts do not accept Control key entries

Hello and thank you for this bug report!

That should be fixed in BZR repo (I guess they have changed something in X server...) ;)
  https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~cairo-dock-team/cairo-dock-core/cairo-dock/revision/1091/src/gldit/eggaccelerators.c

Note that as workaround you can edit the shorcuts manually and replace
<Primary> by <Control>

Title:
Shortcuts do not accept Control key entries

Status in Cairo-Dock: Plug-ins:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
I am trying to map <Control>Space to popup the application launcher.
However, it keeps recording <Primary>Space. I have no idea what this
is, and can't find anything on the internet about it. It will record
<Super>Space, but I can't get any <Control> shortcuts to record. In
fact, I changed one of the existing <Control> shortcuts by pressing
the same key combination (<Control>F2), and it re-recorded it as
<Primary>F2. I cannot get it back now.

  I am using:

   cairo-dock-plug-ins 3.0.1-1ubuntu1~precise A set of plug-ins for Cairo-Dock
