Hello and thank you for this bug report.

Apport didn't report so many information but if you say that Cairo Dock freezes on "quit", I guess you also have this bug LP: #1270491
It seems that this mesa bug is fixed with the 10.1 version.

Yes, there is no version in our PPA for Ubuntu Trusty but this 3.3.2 version is available in official Ubuntu Trusty repos ;-)
(so you can disable this PPA for Ubuntu Saucy series)
