Thank you for the replay. I know that D-Bus has to be enabled, and it
is. But I found out, that although it is enabled the feature works only
if I unable an re-enable the plugin. I have to do that after every
restart. Maybe this is a Compiz bug?

  Expo does not work with Compiz

Bug description:
  After installing the latest version of Glx-Dock by upgrading to Ubuntu 15.04 I experienced a bug: The expo plugin used to be triggered showing all open instances of an application by clicking on its icon in the dock.
  This function does not work anymore.
