[Bug 1783286] [NEW] Cannot grab the whole class name when determining the class of the program
Public bug reported:
The version of Cairo-dock is 3.4.1.
I use Elementary OS Loki 0.4.1 (Ubuntu 16.04 based). It uses Pantheon
DE.
After its latest update, Videos and AppCenter applications appear runnig
on the same icon.
Because, Cairo-dock grabs class name as just "io" for both of them.
However Videos class name is "io.elementary.videos" and AppCenter class name is "io.elementary.appcenter".
I guess it cannot get the rest of whole class name after the first
period.
To reproduce the issue this steps can be followed on Elementary OS Loki:
right click icon -> submenu of the icon -> edit -> Extra parameters -> Grab button which is in front of the text "Class of the program"
** Affects: cairo-dock-core
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
