It's the same for me on both Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon and 19.1 Xfce. Maybe
related to Folders add-on not working as well.

  trash applet don't open trash folder

Bug description:
  I can add trash applet on the dock but it's no fonctionnal.
  I cannot open the trash folder by cliking in the applet.
