Thank you for the reply. I've uploaded a log file regarding the Folders applet with the issue here:

Since they are probably related, that log might already help you out. If
you do need a specific log for the Trash applet, please let me know and
I'll see to it asap.

About gvfsd:

And yes, "xdg-open trash://" works. Both tested on Cinnamon only for now
(log is also from Cinnamon).

  trash applet don't open trash folder

Bug description:
  I can add trash applet on the dock but it's no fonctionnal.
  I cannot open the trash folder by cliking in the applet.
