[Question #708562]: Feedback on the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 (AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U, Radeon 780M Graphics) (202309-32036)

New question #708562 on Ubuntu-Certification:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-certification/+question/708562

Hello.

I have Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 4 (AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U, Radeon 780M Graphics) with last bios uefi version 1.16 with installed ubuntu desktop 23.10 and I have issues with ACPI. During booting ubuntu I get an error messages:

ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_SB.MHSP], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20230331/dswload2-326)
ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, During name lookup/catalog (20230331/psobject-220)

Then I cant change power-profile-daemon to "performance mode" but it is still in "powersave mode".

Is there any chance that when I downgrade bios uefi to version 1.11 and install ubuntu 22.04 LTS these problems disappear or can you give me some advice how the mentioned problems solve?

Thanks and Regards
Martin
