Don't worry. Your PDF shows only dots when viewed with Adobe Reader
10.0.1 on Windows. My Natty machine is on a remote site and the kernel
has panicked, so I can't reach it. I'll test tomorrow.

The difference between both PDF files is that I exported it with the
PDF/A-1a option.
