[Bug 733443] [NEW] Application menu file *.desktop missing information about startup notification
You have been subscribed to a public bug by komputes (komputes):
Application menu files *.desktop in /usr/share/applications directory
missing information like desktop startup notification ( no busy cursor
while double click or start a application)
Applications such as RealPlayer, Adobe Reader, Google Chrome, Skype,
Opera and so on do not show busy or wait cursor when they are started,
since their *.desktop file do not contain StartupNotify=true line.
This problem is a hindrance to user friendliness because some apps do so
while others not.
Hope, this get fixed in coming Ubuntu 11.04
