I also have a similar or the same problem but my sound playback is very
fast.. I sound like Alvin the chipmonk.. if I unplug the logictech web
cam with built in microphone it may work for a while but goes back to
playback too fast.  I tried several Webcams and Sound Recorder the
playback is always fast...
