Unchecking "Enable Hardware Acceleration" in Flash works for me, but you
have to reload the page, after doing so. It doesn't take effect with the
currently running instance of the plug-in.

However, it also more than doubles CPU usage for me. And for some
reason, I have so far only encountered this problem on YouTube, or sites
embedding YouTube videos. Watching a video on Vimeo seems to work fine
for me, as does videos on South Park Studios.
