[Bug 1191120] [NEW] Online videos get out of sync, cause 120% CPU usage

 

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Certain online videos aren't working correctly. The video slows down and
the audio gets out of sync. Top shows firefox using more then 120% of
the cpu. Firefox menus become slow, scrolling is difficult, switching
windows is painful. The problem bleeds to other applications and the
GUI. Closing Firefox does not return things to normal, nor does simply
restarting the OS. The system needs to be shutdown for 10 secounds or
more for the problem to disappear.
