I haven't tested the changed scripts yet, no. Let's create a test plan. I imagine it'd start with deploying this branch in staging. And then manually running any related scripts.

Honestly the disabling of some of the shellcheck tests was because I was scared to break things. My aim is after merging this and getting linting into CI is to go through these same files and try to be more strict, and remove as many shellcheck disables as possible.
