[Bug 1968315] Re: GDM: Tap-to-Click not working
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1711538 ***

I fully agree and have been meaning to report this bug for several
cycles. Default GNOME/libinputa doesn't enable tap-to-click, but Ubuntu
does for the GNOME desktop, and therefore it should also for GDM.
(And thanks for the easy workaround in the meantime!)

Title:
GDM: Tap-to-Click not working
Status in Ubuntu Manual Tests:
New
Bug description:
While in GDM, tapping on the track-pad don't generate al "click".
After logon, tap to click can be configured and works, but only in
established user session. There is no no way to configure it for login
manager GDM.
There are laptop track-pads without mechanical buttons, so this
feature is needed for a good user experience.
