Re: [Merge] ~hyask/auto-upgrade-testing-specifications:skia/ubuntustudio into auto-upgrade-testing-specifications:main

Review: Needs Fixing

I had a good discussion on Matrix this morning with Skia about this very issue.

Counterintuitively, ubuntustudio-desktop has no dependencies or recommends on the other ubuntustudio-* metapackages in the seed because they are installed by livecd-rootfs up on image build time:

https://git.launchpad.net/livecd-rootfs/tree/live-build/auto/config#n943

As you can see, the only two metas missing from that are ubuntustudio-fonts and ubuntustudio-publishing in order to save space.

That said, it might be worth it to still test all but the publishing and fonts metapackages to get a better look at how the automated upgrade process is working.

That said, I agree with Brian that ubuntustudio-desktop alone won't do the trick as it pulls in none of the other metapackages.
