This is not a property of the website.  My connection (which crosses an
ocean) lets me download http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-
live/20240412/noble-desktop-amd64.iso in 10 minutes, with a consistent
speed of > 6.0MB/s.  We have no control over the networks between our
data center and your machine that impact the available throughput.
